Bill to Repeal MSP Private Cause of Action Introduced in House


On June 2, 2022, a bill was introduced in the House of Representatives to “repeal the private cause of action for damages in the case of a primary plan which fails to provide for primary payment or appropriate reimbursement.” The bill is entitled the “Repair Abuses of MSP Payments Act” or the “RAMP Act,” and it has been referred to the Committee on Ways and Means and the Committee on Energy and Commerce for consideration.
