Sydney R. St. John is an associate in the Medicare Compliance Group of Carr Allison’s Birmingham (AL) office. Her practice focuses on assisting clients with issues related to the federal Medicare Secondary Payer Act. She is admitted to practice in Alabama and Tennessee.

Sydney earned her Bachelor of Arts in public relations, with a minor in business, from the University of Alabama. While at Alabama, she was on the Dean’s List and was a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She was also involved in the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band Color Guard and Weapon Line and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She earned her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law (TN), where she served as editor of the Entertainment Law Journal and was a peer mentor for first-year law students. She also served as the Variety Show Marketing Director and was a member of the Legal Aid Society.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and young son, traveling, and attending University of Alabama sporting events!
