This month our attorney spotlight features Jen Baker. Many of you have likely had the opportunity to work with Jen. She has been handling Medicare Secondary Payer issues at Carr Allison for over ten years. She lives in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband, two daughters, and their lab. Here are a few fun facts that will help you get to know her better.

What is your favorite travel destination, and why?

Maine! We go every summer to visit family. The weather is perfect, it has the most amazing sunsets, and I get to eat fresh lobster every day.

What is one thing you cannot live without?

Hallmark channel movies. I know, they are terribly cheesy and predictable. But I love that I am guaranteed a “happily ever after” ending. I plan to check out Heartland on Netflix soon. I have been told it’s the new Hallmark.

Any fun plans for the year?

Yes! This month I finally get to run Jacksonville’s Gate River Run. It is a beautiful run through the city, across its many-colored bridges, concluding with the Hart bridge (the green bridge). The River Run is a rite of passage- you cannot be an official Jacksonville resident until you’ve conquered the “green monster”.
