CMS Publishes Webinar Questions and Answers Confirming Indemnity Only Settlements Not Reportable

The Questions and Answers from the August 13, 2020, webinar on Section 111 reporting are now available HERE. As discussed on our previous article on the webinar, CMS confirmed in the Question and Answer session that indemnity only settlements do not need to be reported, despite previous conflicting statements from CMS in teleconferences on Section 111 reporting. The release of the webinar Questions and Answers provides the first published guidance from CMS confirming that indemnity only settlements do not need to be reported.
