Use of 2018 Life Tables for WCMSAs

Beginning March 27, 2021, CMS will start using the CDC’s “Table 1: Life Table for the total population: United States, 2018” for Workers’ Compensation Medicare Set Aside life expectancy calculations. The 2018 table may be found at: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvsr/nvsr69/nvsr69-12-508.pdf.
